There is so much “Data” floating around about how to treat Covid-19, the novel Corona virus that has shaken the world in 2020. It’s hard to sift through it all and get real information. I always believe prevention is the BEST way to not catch a yucky sickness. The information below is a compilation of advice from my 2 doctors, a nurse working in the Covid-19 ICU’s, a trusted herbologist, and a few “last-ditch effort” ideas from sources I’m not as familiar with but seem logical and applicable. Please note, I am not a medical professional. The information in this post should not replace your doctor. You should seek your own medical advice from a professional before starting a protocol.
The Journey of the COVID-19 virus infection:
- Day 0- 4 or 5 days, generally silent with no symptoms. Possibly still contagious at least on o day 4 or before.
- 5 to 10 days or longer, some symptoms but should be manageable
- Day 10 and beyond 20% of the infected experience complications and some need to be hospitalized.
The trick to this virus, and really any virus, is to catch it early and start treatment immediately. Really, within the hour of the first sign of symptoms if possible! For this reason, as well as to help prevent infection, it is a good idea to be on the maintenance dose of the following supplements. As an added bonus these supplements will help with the quality of your skin, any achy joints, inflammation, will lift your moods, and sooth digestive irritabilities.
- Zinc
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin D
- Vitamin A
- Omega Oil
- Probiotics
- An immune booster combo
This is the maintenance dose to take these during an outbreak to build your immune system
- Zinc Piconlinate 25 mg 1 1x per day (if taking longer than 6 mo. you will also need copper)
- Vit. C 1000 mg 2 2x per day
- Vit D 5,000 IU 1 1x per day
- Vit A 7,500 mcg 1 1x per day
- Omega oil. 12,000mg per day
- Mega Spore Biotic 1 2x per day
- Natural Immunity 1 2x per day
If you test positive for Covid or start to feel symptoms, immediately increase the same supplements to the following dose for 10 days, and up to 2 weeks if your still having symptoms.
- Zinc 25 mg 3x per day
- Vit. C 1000 mg every hour – as much as your bowels can handle (2,000 3-4 times/day)
- Vit D 10,000 IU 2x per day
- Vit A 7,500 mcg 3x per day
- Omega oil. 12,000mg per day
- Mega Spore Biotic four per day
- Natural Immunity 9/day
- Homeopathy: Bryonia30c At first sign of any symptoms. Repeat every 15 minutes until symptoms subside.
- Homeopathy: Gelsemium 30c At first sign of extreme fatigue. Repeat every 15 minutes until symptoms subside.
By doing the above things there is a very good chance you won’t need anything else! However, doing the next few things will aid in your comfort and speed up recover.
In addition to the supplements do the following to lessen symptoms.
- Get lots of fresh air, open windows as much as possible. Be outside as much as possible. Your trying to decrease the viral load. Consider getting a HEPA filter on your AC unit or a small one to put in your room. Air Doctor is a great one.
- Humidify into the air 1 gal of water per 1 cup of hypochlorous acid, this can be made with the Force of Nature machine. (Hypochlorous acid is found effective in killing Corona virus and it is a much gentler disinfectant than alcohol.) If you are sick during the winter and can’t open windows, diffuse DoTerra’s OnGuard.
- Let a fever under 102 degrees run its course. It is killing the virus.
- Focus on eating anti-inflammatory and antioxidant foods. Vitamin C, Grapefruit, Bell peppers, Broccoli sprouts.
- Avoid all simple sugar and decrease flour in your diet.
Drink anti-inflammatory tea: I found a YUMMY Ayurvedic tea blend of turmeric, ginger, lemongrass, and licorice. I add to that some yarrow (great for fevers and pretty much everything viral) and lemon balm (lemon balm keeps the virus from attaching to your cells). The proportions you use can be whatever feels right to you!

*There is a VERY good chance you won’t need anything else listed here. But just in case, the following are suggestions for the next level of care.
If you develop any concerning symptoms add in the following
- Take “Red Plague Remedy” according to directions on the bottle.
- Drink organic bone broth. You can buy it in a box at Costco, I like the Pacific brand. Drink other warm drinks. Preferably, the anti-inflammatory tea described above. Wassail is also a good choice. Any combination fresh orange, grapefruit juice, or apple juice with a little ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Stay on the above supplement and homeopathy protocol
- Get in a sauna if you have access to one.
At the first sign of a cough or chest congestion
- Increase vitamin C if possible.
- Liposomal glutathione. 700 mg three times per day
- Omega oil 18,000 to 36,000 mg per day or more
- Nebulize one of the following 2-3 times per day. 10-20 minutes
- Nano silver10ppm. Use 8ml
- Steriod Budasonide, a prescription. Half a vial for children, whole vile for adults. Five vials total.
- Lay prone as much as possible!
- Try to be outside in the sun as much as possible.
- When blood O2 is in low 90s, consider medical care. You can check this with a Pulse oximeter.
Get on a prescription from your doctor. Hydrochloroquine with Zithromax is a good option. (Treats the virus) If that doesn’t do it you can add in Dexamethasone. (Treats the inflammation).
