
Golden Salsa Recipe
This fresh recipe is perfect for those summer garden tomatoes!
Equipment
- Vidalia Chop Wizard
- Food Processor or a blender
Ingredients
- 8 Yellow Lemon Boy Tomatoes Red tomatoes are great also!
- 1 Onion
- 2 Anaheim Peppers
- 4 tsp Crushed Garlic
- 4 Serano Peppers Without seeds and veins if you want it mild
- 1 cup Fresh Cilantro
- 2 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 tbsp Vinegar Optional
- 4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Use your Vidalia Chop Wizard with the smallest insert to chop tomatoes, onion, and Anaheim peppers and combine in a small mixing bowl.
- Add chopped garlic.
- Remove the seeds and from the sereno peppers, and finely chop in a mini food processor. Add to mixing bowl. (You can keep the seeds and veins to add later if you want more heat.)
- Chop the cilantro and add to the mix.
- Add lime juice, vinegar, and salt and stir together.
- Blend 1/4 of the salsa mix for a smoother texture and marrying of flavors.
- Enjoy with your favorite tortilla chips!
- This will keep in the fridge for about 1 week.
